Shake It Free | Uplifting Autumn Folk Song for Mabon & the Autumn Equinox

Shake It Free is the fourth track from my album Mabon - Turn Within, an uplifting song about movement, release and letting go of what we no longer need. Inspired by the way trees simply let their leaves fall when the time is right, the song takes that same idea and brings it into the body. Shake your hands, stamp your feet, move to the rhythm and let some of that weight fall away. Mabon is a season of change and balance, but turning within doesn’t always have to mean becoming still. Sometimes letting go can be noisy, energetic and a lot of fun. Lyrics Shake your hands Shake your feet Feel it moving Find the beat Roll your shoulders Let them drop Keep it moving Don’t you stop Bit by bit Let it go You don’t need it Let it go Shake, shake, shake it free Move your body, move with me Shake, shake, let it fall You don’t have to hold it all Shake, shake, head to toe Feel the rhythm, let it go Barefoot stomping on the floor Feeling good, now shake some more Shake your fingers Shake your knees Move whichever way you please Stamp your feet Swing around Feel that rhythm through the ground Bit by bit Let it go What you’re carrying You can let go Shake, shake, shake it free Move your body, move with me Shake, shake, let it fall You don’t have to hold it all Shake, shake, head to toe Feel the rhythm, let it go Barefoot stomping on the floor Feeling good, now shake some more Watch the branches Watch them sway Leaves are falling Drift away Trees don’t wonder Trees don’t know When it’s time They let it go Shake your hands Shake your feet Shake your shoulders Find the beat Shake it loose Shake it free Let it fall Just let it be Shake, shake, shake it free Move your body, move with me Shake, shake, let it fall You don’t have to hold it all Shake, shake, head to toe Feel the rhythm, let it go Barefoot stomping on the floor Feeling good, now shake some more Listen to the full Mabon - Turn Within album Spotify https://open.spotify.com/album/1WZEfi...
