100% एथेनॉल वाले ईंधन को सरकार की मंजूरी: सरकार बोली- कच्चे तेल का आयात और प्रदूषण घटेगा भारत में जल्द ही ऐसी कारें सड़कों पर दौड़ती दिखेंगी, जो न तो पेट्रोल-डीजल और CNG से चलेंगी और न ही उनमें बैटरी होगी। केंद्र सरकार ने 100% एथेनॉल-ब्लेंडेड फ्यूल के इस्तेमाल को मंजूरी दे दी है। हालांकि, इसे सिर्फ उन्हीं गाड़ियों में इस्तेमाल किया जा सकेगा, जिन्हें कंपनी ने खासतौर पर E100 फ्यूल से चलने के लिए बनाया हो। नए नियमों से ऐसी कारों की टेस्टिंग और उन्हें चलाने की मंजूरी मिलने का रास्ता साफ हो गया है। Government Approves 100% Ethanol Fuel: Move Expected to Reduce Crude Oil Imports and Pollution Soon, cars will be seen on Indian roads that run neither on petrol, diesel, or CNG, nor rely on batteries.
