Bobby Ruddy broke the school record for yards gained with 1,617 and named the Scranton Times Player of the Year. Gary Muracco received the HOOKEY REAP award for Best Offensive Lineman of the Year. Coach Jack Henzes was picked as the COACH OF THE YEAR in Northeast PA and selected to coach the PA Team in the Annual Big-33 Football Classic. Bobby Ruddy was chosen to play in the contest and twin brother Billy was an honorable mention. The Ruddys were also honorable mentions on the All-State team. The Ruddys were also chosen as Co-Athletes of the Year in Lackawanna County. TRIVIA: Last time Dunmore went undefeated was the year 1912 when we went 6-0 !!
