Stone Arthur - Mountain Rescue Charity Wild Camp

An annual event set up by the Facebook group Lake District Hiking and Wild Camping. Each year money is raised for one of the Lake District Mountain Rescue groups. Each of the Wainwright summits is camped on, and at 11pm we all shine our headtorches and light up the fells Handy summit to camp on as it's only a 1.3 mile hike. At the top in an hour, and back down to the van in 40 mins. A thoroughly enjoyable camp, and very happy to play a part in this year's event
