Amen." _____________________ "Think on This : "The Dual Call for Fellowship and Service" Fellowship - Life in Common: New Testament Greek word for fellowship is koinonia, which means partnership, joint participation, and shared life rather than casual socializing. Mutual Care for One Another: Believers are called to bear one another's burdens (Galatians 6:2), encourage love and good works (Hebrews 10:24-25), and walk in mutual accountability. The Common Bond: True Christian fellowship flows from a vertical relationship with God 'into' horizontal connections with other believers. Colossians 3:17 - "And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him." Received into Fellowship: Entering a church family means finding support, shared experiences, prayer, and deep relational intimacy. NO ONE is meant to walk the Christian life in isolation. Received into Service: The church works as God intended only when every member contributes their time, energy, and God-given resources. Serving transforms community from a passive experience into an active partnership.
