If the current situation continues for another two weeks, the total amount could rise to approximately Rs 15 million. The rental expenses are expected to be covered through public funds, raising concerns about whether taxpayers should bear the cost of prolonged road closures and security arrangements. The restrictions have also created difficulties for traders and business owners.
