Boca Grande, Florida - Manatees in the Water

SW Florida woke up to 77 degrees. It was a beautiful morning for the beach. The sun was nice and bright and the Gulf was warm. There were a number of people out on the tip of the island this morning. Saw a number of manatees out in the ocean. It is easy to see them from the shore but a bit hard to try and capture them. I tried my best to follow them as they swam and when they came up for air. You could see their heads and then their tails. There were also a number of people fishing. I did see a few catch some bigger fish but not sure what kind of fish they were. Also, at one point I heard someone yell "look out there". Of course, everyone was looking and it was a large group of fish jumping in the water. Not sure if something was chasing them or what but a few birds were trying to get some food. It's always great to see stuff like that. Sometimes hard to capture so that I can show you but I do try my best. I hope that wherever you are watching from that you are enjoying the sights and sounds of the beach here in SW Florida.
