Planning a Manali to Leh Ride? This Place Will TEST You!

After months of planning, I set out to explore Ladakh in September, along with two riding partners - our first adventure to the Himalayas. This ride was extra special for me — I'd always dreamed of riding to Ladakh on my own bike before turning 40. But before we could reach Leh, Sarchu in Himachal Pradesh had a different test waiting for us. −10°C outside. Around −3°C inside our tent. Four layers of clothing. Multiple blankets. And still, the Himalayan cold was relentless! In this vlog, I share our experience of camping at Sarchu, facing the extreme cold and discovering just how challenging a high-altitude Himalayan adventure can be. It was a dream ride, but one that tested us in ways we hadn't quite imagined.
