The Pier has multiple dining areas, a full buffet, bar, Cathay Pacific’s famous Noodle Bar with made-to-order food, a dedicated Tea Room, relaxation areas, showers and runway-view seating. Having previously experienced Emirates First Class and Qatar Business Class lounges, The Pier genuinely surprised me and became one of my favourite Business Class lounge experiences. I then boarded Cathay Pacific’s Boeing 777-300ER for the direct flight from Hong Kong to Delhi. The Business Class cabin features reverse-herringbone seats with plenty of privacy, storage, bedding, amenity kit, headphones, charging options and a large entertainment screen. For dinner, Cathay Pacific offered multiple international and Indian options. My meal included bhindi masala, pulao, mutton and raita, followed by Häagen-Dazs ice cream and Hong Kong-style milk tea.
