The dark 90s comic book movie adaptation follows betrayed government assassin Al Simmons, who is murdered by his corrupt superior and sent to Hell—only to make a deal with the demon Malebolgia to return to Earth as a resurrected, cape-wearing Hellspawn warrior. From its pioneering, unhinged CGI visual effects to the iconic suit transformation scenes, this reaction highlights the movie’s peak late-90s comic book aesthetic, heavy metal soundtrack energy, and early era of dark superhero origin stories before the modern comic book boom. This 90s superhero classic was directed by former ILM visual effects supervisor Mark A.Z. Dippé (VFX on Terminator 2: Judgment Day, Jurassic Park, The Abyss), based on the Image Comics comic book series created by Todd McFarlane (Spider-Man, Venom, Batman: The Animated Series). The film stars Michael Jai White (Al Simmons / Spawn) (Black Dynamite, The Dark Knight, Blood and Bone, Mortal Kombat: Legacy, Tyson, Undisputed II: Last Man Standing), John Leguizamo (Clown / Violator) (Violent Night, Super Mario Bros., Carlito's Way, John Wick, Ice Age, Encanto), Martin Sheen (Jason Wynn) (Apocalypse Now, The Departed, The West Wing, The Amazing Spider-Man, Wall Street), Theresa Randle (Wanda Blake) (Bad Boys, Beverly Hills Cop III, Space Jam, Girl 6), Nicol Williamson (Cogliostro) (Excalibur, The Return of the Sherlock Holmes), D.B. Sweeney (Terry Fitzgerald) (The Cutting Edge, Fire in the Sky, Dinosaur), Melinda Clarke (Jessica Priest) (The O.C., Nikita, Spawn: The Animated Series), and features voice work by Frank Welker (Malebolgia) (Transformers, Scooby-Doo, The Lion King, Aladdin). ____________________ Edit by CineJump Team Thumbnail by Praper Media www.CineJump.com www.PraperMedia.com ___________________________________________________ SOCIAL MEDIA: ~CINEPALS~ YouTube: @CinePals Insta:   / thecinepals   Twitter:   / thecinepals   ~ACHARA~ YouTube: @Achara Instagram: ‪@Acharakirk‬ ~MICHAEL BOOSE~ Instagram: @BooseIsLoose ___________________________________________________ SHORT FILMS PLAYLIST:    • SHORT FILMS & FUN VIDEOS   Click here to subscribe and know when the next video drops: http://www.youtube.com/subscription_c...
