Memorial Day Parade 2025 - Catholic War Veterans - Altoona, Pennsylvania

For the 2025 version of the Memorial Day parade, filmed on Monday but was not fully edited until today, the parade once again went by my house, but as it does every time, it grows smaller and smaller. First it was the trumpets that I noticed no longer were heard, then the drums got quieter, now I barely heard any drums. It's sad, really, the parade mostly consists of World War Two vets. It's a demographic that continues to grow smaller and smaller every year. It's important that these things are preserved and kept safe for all time so that it is never forgotten the sacrifices these brave soldiers made for us in the 40s. #MemorialDay #MemorialDayParade #2025parade #MemorialDay2025
