Master in Open Queue. Gold Estimate in DPS?! | Overwatch

Apparently my Master badge isn’t valid in this queue. Yesterday I hit MASTER in OPEN QUEUE on the very first game after placing Diamond 1. Mostly playing DPS, by the way. I was ready to become completely unbearable about it. Then I started DPS ROLE QUEUE placements. Finished my first DPS placement with roughly 34 eliminations and zero deaths. The game came back with an expected rank of SILVER 1. After about seven DPS placements, the estimate is now around GOLD 3. Same hands. Same mouse. Apparently we need to introduce ourselves again. Today we keep going through DPS placements and find out where we actually land. Role Queue is getting another chance to stop acting like it’s never met me. I get a Master badge in one queue and a “let’s not get carried away” in the other. Beautiful. Very welcoming. Time to lock in, take good fights, and see what the rest of these placements produce. I’d also like to enjoy Role Queue, but let’s set realistic goals. Chat, where do these DPS placements finish? Make your prediction.
