Mountains To Sea Trail~Clingmans Dome to Asheville

Starting the Mountains to Sea Trail at Clingmans Dome and hiking 130 miles to Asheville NC. I encounter hundreds.....no, thousands of feet of elevation gain and losses. Summer heat, and Winter cold! And finally, gentle Spring showers. There were flowers, squirrels, ducks, deer, Elk, and even a Bear! Birds singing in the AM and Owls hooting in the PM…..no, actually, very very early AM!
