Every coach in college football is tired of hearing about Curt Cignetti — and Bruce Feldman just confirmed it on SVP. Trent and Tim break down why Cignetti has become public enemy number one for the entire college football establishment heading into 2026. Then it's full College Football Playoff bracket predictions — Trent's surprise pick has Tim floored — a North Texas preview, Penn State doing something unforgivable, and the SEC disaster parlay of the century. In this episode: Curt Cignetti: Public Enemy Number One Bruce Feldman goes on SVP and reveals that opposing coaches are fed up with the Cignetti narrative. Tim breaks it down perfectly: imagine a peer at another institution being called transformational by every higher-up around you — while you've been told for decades to build facilities, recruit, and develop coordinators. Cignetti did it in 24 months with the worst program in college football history. Of course they're tired of him. He's making them all look like fools. North Texas Preview Neal Brown takes over a North Texas program that lost Eric Morris and Drew Mestermaker to Oklahoma State. Taven Jackson — known to Indiana fans from both football and basketball — brings familiarity to the matchup. Tim wants crisp offensive execution from Josh Hoover. Trent wants to see the defensive line rotation, who Byron Baldwin Jr. is in this defense, and who Hoover targets when his first two options aren't open. Indiana is a 40.5 point favorite. The only way they lose involves a presidential executive order. College Football Playoff Bracket — Tease Trent and Tim reveal their full 12-team CFP brackets — picked independently, with six differences between them. Both have Indiana number one. Beyond that, the disagreements are significant — on the SEC, the Big 12, the ACC, and one pick that has Tim floored. Both hosts have Indiana in the national championship — but who they're playing and how they get there is where it gets interesting. You'll have to watch to find out. Penn State's "Paterno Family Football Experience Room" Penn State Athletics announces the Paterno Family Football Experience Room at Beaver Stadium. Tim cannot process this. Trent cannot process this. The name alone is enough. Tim's verdict: number one villain in college football history. Full stop. Memorial Stadium Improvements & Tailgating Rules The IndyCar is on the field. New temporary team stores are open. New tailgating rules mean no more taking up six spots with tents. Someone complained about parking in the Luddy Garage. Trent is not sympathetic. Jeremy Gray's Crimsoncast special is required viewing before Saturday. The SEC Disaster Parlay Trent's three-leg parlay: Baylor over Auburn, Clemson over LSU (+310), Louisville over Ole Miss (+220). If all three hit, the SEC is done before week two and Trent wins $1,300. Tim calls it a lotto ticket. Trent agrees and bets $20 anyway. 🔗 Follow Tim: @tbhoosiers 🔗 Follow Trent: @STMcGee 🔗 Follow Kirkwood and Dunn: @KirkwoodandDunn 👍 Like, subscribe, and drop your CFP bracket in the comments — we want to see how wrong you are too.
