The entire Braj Mandal spans an area of ​​84 *kos*—approximately 300 kilometers. Braj comprises twelve distinct forests (*Vanas*), the largest of which is 'Kamavan'. This particular site is situated at an approximately equal distance from both Nandgaon and Barsana.
