We drove ourselves, and almost immediately after arriving we were approached by people offering to “guide” us down to the falls. Here's the important bit: ⚠️ *YOU DO NOT HAVE TO PAY SOMEONE JUST TO WALK DOWN TO OUZOUD FALLS.* The route to the waterfalls can be walked independently. However, if you've never been before, finding your way around can initially feel confusing — especially when you've got people repeatedly offering to take you there. My issue isn't Ouzoud — it's arriving unprepared and having your first experience dominated by people trying to sell you something you may not actually need. If I were doing it again? *I'd book the transport/day trip from Marrakech, get taken there, enjoy Ouzoud Falls and get driven back.
