Annaprāśana samskāra - Kanhaiya Das

On this auspicious day of Guru Purnima, I look back with immense gratitude to a sacred milestone in my life, my first grain giving ceremony (annaprāśana samskāra), which took place exactly 18 years ago today. Looking back at these memories reminds me that whatever good exists in my life is entirely due to the mercy and guidance of the devotees and my spiritual elders. I am truly nothing without their blessings. On this divine occasion of Guru Purnima, I humbly seek the eternal blessings of all the Vaishnavas and offer my heartfelt gratitude to: His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, for introducing the light of Krsna consciousness to the world and guiding us through his eternal teachings. His Holiness Krishna Das Swami, for his continuous spiritual guidance, warmth, and mercy. The Assembly of Vaishnavas, whose selfless devotion, encouragement, and infinite mercy serve as my constant shelter. My Beloved Parents, for guiding my steps from the very beginning and nurturing me in devotion. May I always remain a servant of the servants of the Vaishnavas. Please bless me so that I may continue to walk on the path of devotion with humility and sincerity. Hare Krishna!
