CaRob - The Darkest Night

I am walking through the valley of the shadow, where the darkness tries to hide Your face from me. But I can feel Your hand, a steady anchor, in the quiet where my eyes can barely see. Though the storm is rising all around me and heavy clouds are shutting out the sun, I will look to where my help is coming from. ’Cause the darkest night is like the day to You. There is no shadow You cannot see through. Where I see an end, You see a way. The midnight is bright in the light of Your grace. Oh, the deepest dark is like the day to You. Jesus, You shine through. When the silence feels a little too near, and the enemy is whispering my fears, You remind me that the dark is just a canvas for the glory that will wipe away my tears. You are standing in the middle of my sorrow, holding every broken piece inside Your hand. ’Cause the darkest night is like the day to You. There is no shadow You cannot see through. Where I see an end, You see a way. The midnight is bright in the light of Your grace. Oh, the deepest dark is like the day to You. Jesus, You shine through. Even the darkness is not dark to You. Even the night will shine, will shine. Even the darkness is not dark to You. Your light is alive, alive. ’Cause the darkest night is like the day to You. There is no shadow You cannot see through. Where I see an end, You see a way. The midnight is bright in the light of Your grace. Oh, the deepest dark is like the day to You. Jesus, You shine through. The mended heart, the morning light— You chase away my darkest night. It’s like the day to You. Yeah, it’s all bright to You. Oh, My Jesus, Your light is alive, alive.
