What I like about music is that sometimes it can be interpreted in any way the listener chooses. A song can remind you of a person, a memory, a place, or even a feeling that you can’t quite put into words. Sometimes, you don’t even know what it means until you hear it at the right moment. Maybe this song could be one of those moments. There isn’t necessarily a story that needs to be explained, or a specific person that comes to mind. Maybe it reminds you of someone you miss. Maybe it makes you think about someone you’ve gotten distant from. Maybe it brings back a memory you thought you had forgotten. Or maybe it just feels familiar in a way you can’t explain. I believe that’s what makes music special. It doesn’t always have to tell you exactly what it means; and sometimes, it’s better when you can just give it your own meaning.
