Portland Army Veteran & Teacher Selected for Free Roof | HALO Project

Guardian Roofing has selected Jason and Misha Depp as the recipients of its Portland, Oregon HALO Project. Jason served 14 years in the U.S. Army Infantry and Airborne, including deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan. After leaving the military, he continued serving his community as a fifth-grade teacher in Tualatin, Oregon. Jason and Misha have spent years dealing with persistent leaks and damage from a roof that is only about 12 years old. On September 14, 2026, the Guardian Roofing team will begin replacing it at no cost to the family.
