We Broke Down in Italy… Then Crashed in France!

We broke down in Italy… then crashed in France! 🇮🇹🇫🇷 Episode 7 of our European motorhome road trip definitely didn’t go to plan! After days of seriously hot weather in Italy, the starter battery on our motorhome finally gave up. We managed to jump-start it and thought we'd got away with it… until we stopped at the next petrol station and it refused to start again. 😬 With no replacement battery immediately available, we had to improvise. We swapped one of our leisure batteries into the starter battery position and, unbelievably, it worked! That temporary fix kept the motorhome going for the rest of the trip and eventually got us all the way home to the UK. But that wasn't the end of our problems… After crossing into France, we arrived at our next campsite and were given a seriously steep pitch. While reversing down it, the motorhome bottomed out, the step caught the ground and we cracked the step and surrounding panels. 🤦‍♂️ So technically… we broke down in Italy AND crashed in France. 😂 Just another day on the TourFabs European adventure!
