Is SPEAKER BREAK IN real? Testing four new speakers

Merry Christmas, you nerds! Ever since I released my big Celestion Vintage 30 shootout video, I’ve been teasing a speaker break in test. Whether speaker break in exists or not has been a hot topic on the internet forums for a while and I intended to find out the truth through means of testing. In this video I take four new Celestion Vintage 30s and try to break them in. Two of them I attempted to break in myself and two others were sent away for professional break in tests to retailers in Germany. The two speakers I broke in myself were the 2021 V30s labeled as #49 and #50 from my big shootout video. They were broken in in my Grossmann iso cab using an SM57, a preamp/power amp signal chain and reamping guitar signals through them for several hours. The first speaker #50 was played for 100 hours and the second speaker, #49 was played for 300 hours.
