Broadway follows the liturgical calendar. Currently we are in the season of Ordinary Time, which is named for the ordinal numbers of the Sundays after Pentecost. It is a time for growing and maturation and continues until Advent. We use green paraments as a symbol of growth.
As all people are made in the image of God, Broadway Baptist Church is committed to regularly using gender neutral and gender inclusive pronouns for both God and humanity in song, liturgy, and proclamation. Though some historic texts reflect the eras in which they were written, when appropriate, Broadway will choose to alter songs and hymns in order to better represent more inclusive understandings and values.
Our worship leaders this morning include David & Annie, Acolytes; Erin Mayer, Stan Ford, & Bob Madeja, Deacon Officers; Karen Krause & Matt Ferguson, Deacon Board Members; Members Of the Chancel Choir; Dennis Jewett, Minister of Music; Bradley Reznicek, Organist; Fran Patterson, Pastor of Congregational Care; and Ryon Price, Senior Pastor.
