ARMED AND DANGEROUS (PETRA) - Rockhestra Version🎻 | 🎸Metal Symphony

🏷️ This is my 🎸🎻 ROCKHESTRA 🎺🎼 rendition of “Armed and Dangerous” by Petra, reimagined with powerful Christian Rock, Symphonic Metal, cinematic orchestra, soaring guitars, heavy drums, and epic choir. This Rockhestra Version brings the song’s spiritual warfare message into a powerful orchestral rock setting — a declaration that believers are called to stand firm in faith, equipped with the armor of God. ❤ Special thanks to ‪@Crusader773‬ for requesting this song! By God’s grace, this rendition is now live on this channel. May it strengthen your faith, encourage you to stand firm, and remind you that our battle is not fought with worldly weapons, but with the strength God provides. 🌙💭 The History: “Armed and Dangerous” was originally recorded by Petra and released in 1990 as the opening track of their landmark album Beyond Belief. Written by guitarist and songwriter Bob Hartman, the song became part of Petra’s powerful spiritual-warfare era, following albums such as This Means War! and On Fire! The song uses the language of battle as a metaphor for the Christian life. Its title turns a familiar expression into a spiritual declaration: believers are “armed” with God’s truth and spiritual armor, and “dangerous” to the kingdom of darkness — not through violence, but through faith, truth, prayer, and the power of God. 🎯 Meaning & Message: “Armed and Dangerous” is a call to action for every believer. Spiritual warfare is not reserved for pastors or missionaries; every Christian is called to stand firm. The song reminds us that our strength does not come from ourselves. We may be weak on our own, but God equips His people with spiritual armor to resist evil, protect the faith, and stand faithfully until the end. Its central message is simple and powerful: Stand firm. Put on the armor of God. Hold fast to the faith. Face spiritual opposition with courage, knowing that our true strength comes from God. 📖 Scriptural Foundation: The song draws its biblical foundation from passages such as: ✝️ Ephesians 6:11–17 — Put on the full armor of God and stand against the schemes of the devil. ✝️ 2 Corinthians 10:4 — Our spiritual weapons have divine power to demolish strongholds. ✝️ Jude 1:3 — Earnestly contend for the faith entrusted to God’s people. These Scriptures point to the heart of the song: believers are called to stand firm in truth, faith, righteousness, and the power of God. ================================= 🎵 ARMED AND DANGEROUS 🎵 It used to be a distant call Thought to be for some but never all Now our wounded lay on every side Now this call to arms can't be denied The enemy will tremble As young and old assemble A mighty army up in arms [Chorus] Armed and dangerous God's enemies will scatter Armed and dangerous We'll see the darkness shatter His armor is worth its weight No weapon can penetrate Armed and dangerous We're ready to storm the gate We're not so tough on our own Not one can even stand all alone, no! Just a rag tag army at its best We sometimes even fail the smallest test But through this tribulation There comes a transformation We don the armor of our King [Chorus] Stand! Up against the flood Stand! Covered by His blood We are the standard He has raised Stand! Earnestly contend Stand! To the very end We've only just begun to fight [Chorus] Storm the gate, whoa! ================================= 🎶 Original Song Credits 🎶 ================================= 🍂 Title: Armed and Dangerous 🎹 Song Writers/Lyrics: Bob Hartman 💽 Music: Bob Hartman 🕺 Original Artist: Petra 🎤 Lead Vocal: John Schlitt 🗓️ Release Year: 1990 💿 Album: Beyond Belief 📝 CCLI Song No.: 115516 ================================= ⚠️ Copyright Disclaimer / Legal Notice: This video is an unofficial, independently produced Rockhestra-style cover and artistic reinterpretation of the original composition.
