[4K] Vienna Walk: Vienna’s Hidden Lake: Relaxing Walk Along the Old Danube

Join me on a calm and peaceful walk along the Old Danube (Alte Donau), one of Vienna’s most beautiful places by the water. 🌿💧 The Old Danube is a former arm of the Danube River and is now a quiet lake in the middle of the city. People in Vienna come here to swim, relax, go boating and enjoy nature, away from the busy city center. On this walk, we start at Jenischenweg and follow the water past the Lagerwiese Romaplatz and the classic Angelibad lakeside bath. Then we cross the Birnerbrücke and continue along the Upper Old Danube through André Heller Park. The walk ends right by the water, just before the Obstwiese.
