Stockholm Outer Archipelago: Historic Utö & Olympic Nynäshamn

In this episode, we venture further out in the archipelago to historic Utö and Nynäshamn. We explore Utö, home to Sweden’s oldest iron ore mines dating back to the 1100s, before cruising across the open waters toward Nynäshamn—the official sailing venue for the 1912 Summer Olympics. We were treated to an incredible wildlife spectacle: a cormorant swallowing a flounder whole right beside us!
