Learn Korean for beginners with everyday phrases for asking for help, finding a café, and asking someone to repeat or speak more slowly.
Practice 33 useful Korean expressions with Minji and Jaehun in slow, friendly conversations. Each expression gives you three chances to speak: listen and repeat, try it again, then say it on your own. That's 99 speaking turns to help you practice using what you hear!
In this episode, you'll learn how to:
• Ask for directions and understand simple answers.
• Say "Please say that again" and "Please speak slowly."
• Ask for help while grocery shopping.
• Make plans and talk about your weekend, music, and daily life.
Try these phrases out loud:
다시 말씀해 주세요. — Please say that again.
천천히 말씀해 주세요. — Please speak slowly.
이것 좀 도와주세요. — Could you help me with this?
근처에 카페가 있어요? — Is there a café nearby?
같이 갈래요? — Would you like to come along?
틀려도 괜찮아요. — It's okay to make mistakes.
Listen, pause, and speak at your own pace. Stay until the end for a key-phrase review and five speaking questions.
