The First One Day Ascent of an Obscure El Cap A4 - Hole World

This spring, Taylor Martin and I made the first one day ascent of Hole World (A4). Taylor only had a 4 day window between getting down from our Shortest Straw speed record and going back on call for SAR. We decided to start in the middle of that window so that we could recover before and after. This did mean starting in the afternoon, which also meant Taylor had to lead her block through the night. We topped out in 14:45, comfortably making the FOD ascent, but got slightly fried by the overnight climbing. We slept on top of Lurking Fear until the sun came up, then made the long descent back to the meadow.
