Route 66 from Shamrock Texas to Amarillo, and and finally Tucumcari New Mexico

We said goodbye to the Lone Mound Ranch in Shamrock Texas and headed west on Route 66. Our first stop was the Devil's Rope Museum. We saw the Leaning Tower of Texas and made a pitstop at Buc-cees. We did another RV Overnights at the Route 66 Visitor Center in Amarillo. We spent two nights hear so that we could also do Palo Duro Canyon State Park. keep an eye out for that future video. We explored the historic 6th street area and saw many murals and great local shops! We then headed to Slug Bug Ranch to add our marks with some spray paint! We worked up an appetite and headed to the Big Texan for some steaks and drinks! After a couple of nights in Amarillo we hit the road again, first stopping at the Cadillac Ranch for some more spray paint fun. After that we made it to the Mid Point of our Route 66 trip! We saw the abandoned town of Glen Rio, and made it into New Mexico! We stopped at the worlds largest Flip Flop, and finally to historic Tucumcari. After dark we got to see some amazing neon lights!
