My name is Faye Sutton. I was forty-two years old that night. I had been married to Derek Voss for thirteen years. I believed we'd grow old together. We had a comfortable house and a nice car. We had enough money to live without worrying about every bill. At least, that was what I thought. Derek worked as a regional manager for a building supply company. I stayed home, prepared his meals, cleaned our house, and took care of everything he didn't want to think about. I had once dreamed of having my own small business.
