This Land is Your Land | By: Woody Guthrie | Performed at: Elk Knob State Park, NC

I was wanderin’ around Boone, NC one morning after a Hurricane Isaias ripped through the valley the night before. Not wanting to catch up to the storm heading north I followed the signs to Elk Knob State Park. On the way up the mountain “This Land is Your Land” by Woody Guthrie came on and it brought a warmth to my heart I hadn’t felt in a long time. With all that’s going on I wanted to celebrate the mountains for a minute and I thought this song was a perfect way to do so!
