The Search for the Green Fire

This is the story of how historians Susan Flader and Curt Meine found the site where Aldo Leopold shot the wolf he later wrote about in his famous essay "Thinking Like a Mountain." The film team was able to record this discovery as it was happening. Join Flader and Meine, along with retired wilderness ranger Don Hoffman, as they journey into the mountains of eastern Arizona in search of the Green Fire.
