Considering so many other people are doing Mag and Gal solos, I might as well be the Pyet-A Solo Guy
I'd like to think of this as a redemption for my fumbled Percival clear. I wasn't nearly as satisfied by my botched attempt with him, so I decided to go ahead and go all out with Cag for this attempt, even beating my time using Narmaya, my main. I suspect that I'll have to revisit my Narmaya run in the future and try to push for a sub 9 minute time with her.
For context, just in case you aren't aware, Moonbreaker is a trophy acquired for beating Pyet-A in 10 minutes or less, while not entering critical state or using potions. This challenge has its difficulty in the mixture of needing to apply high pressure offense to get past the 10 minute mark while also not being able to rely on potions, meaning your defense has to be near perfect to avoid dying.
Cagliostro's damage is surprisingly not mainly from her charged Collapse, even though that's conventionally her most consistent and powerful attack. Pain Train is by far and away the biggest heavy hitter, doing ludicrous damage on a really short cooldown while also being a gap closer in a pinch. This move is insane, to the point where I don't even care that it doesn't proc a quick charge. Alexandria is also really useful, being a strong burst of damage while also enabling a charged Collapse, which is still helpful whenever I can reliably launch one. Mimic Doll was alright but felt somewhat lackluster at times, feeling like an elaborate means to get quick charge. And considering this boss applies long lasting dispellable buffs that actually make a huge difference in the fight, I brought Disruption to have an excuse to use it. All things considered it probably isn't worth using, but there wasn't anything else worth running besides maybe Phantas, which wouldn't help much as my crit was already maxed.
Improved Dodge is the MVP this time, not just because it enabled a lot more evasion, but also because it helps with Cag's optimized basic attack combo. My main rotation when skills are down is two light attacks, followed by a third which I dodge cancel, and then two heavy attacks, each of which I dodge cancel. This drastically speeds up the combo and enables me to chain it into another one extremely quickly.
Overall, this run was a lot of fun, and I intend to do a few more in the future. (Id is looking pretty rough though, his damage is NOT it)
My sigils are displayed at the end of the video, but I'll place them here just in case:
War Elemental
Supplementary Damage x3
DMG Cap x4 (Guts, Drain, Cascade, Quick Cooldown)
Skilled Assault (Quick Cooldown)
