Spring Lake residents call for change along dangerous M-104 highway (11/16/2000)

M-104 connects I-96 to the Lakeshore and cuts through the heart of Spring Lake. But merging at 70 and 80 miles per hour into the 55 MPH zone caused many accidents and deaths over the year. That's why Lake residents called on the Michigan Department of Transportation to make a change. This story aired during the 6 p.m. WZZM 13 newscast on November 16, 2000. Reporter: Chris Tye
