THE WORK OF MY HANDS - CHRISTIAN DEVOTIONAL

The Work of My Hands [Verse 1] Morning light across the floor, Another day, another door. I tie my shoes, I take a breath, And thank the Lord for strength and health. The tasks may seem so small today, The quiet work along the way. But every seed and every start Can be offered with a grateful heart. [Chorus] Bless the work of my hands, Lord, Let it grow in love and care. Give me patience for the hours, Give me kindness I can share. I don’t need a perfect day To see Your goodness where I stand. Thank You for this life You give, And the work of my hands. [Verse 2] A steady step, a willing mind, A little help, a word that’s kind. Enough to do, enough to give, Enough to make this day a gift. When plans change shape or progress slows, You stay beside me as I go. I’ll do what I can, then leave the rest With You, who knows my heart the best. [Chorus] Bless the work of my hands, Lord, Let it grow in love and care. Give me patience for the hours, Give me kindness I can share. I don’t need a perfect day To see Your goodness where I stand. Thank You for this life You give, And the work of my hands. [Bridge] For strength to rise, for bread to share, For family and friends who care, For health enough to try again, For daily grace—amen, amen. [Final Chorus] Bless the work of my hands, Lord, Let it grow in love and care. May my work bring peace to others; May I meet each day with prayer. I don’t need a perfect day To see Your goodness where I stand. Thank You for this life You give, And the work of my hands. [Outro] Thank You for this day, For the work of my hands.
