Deepnest. One of the most infamous areas in Hollow Knight — and I’m going in blind. Today I’m pushing deeper into Deepnest, exploring its web-covered tunnels, hidden passages, hostile creatures, and whatever else Hallownest has waiting underground. This is my first Hollow Knight playthrough, so I’m experiencing Deepnest the way it was meant to hit: without knowing exactly what’s around the next corner. No walkthrough route, no perfect map knowledge — just exploration, combat, getting lost, learning the area, and trying to survive long enough to understand what this place actually is. Deepnest has a reputation for being one of the creepiest and most unsettling locations in Hollow Knight, and after everything Hallownest has thrown at me so far, I’m expecting this expedition to get ugly.
