Only one time rendering and it turned out exactly the way I hoped!! This is kind of complicated, I'll try to explain the best I can. Think of this as an actual ghost story. Most of the parts in black and white represent the present and how everything has become just a dead world. The opera house hasn't actually burned down like in the film. I put a lot of atmospheric elements in here and you'll see especially at the end what I mean. Think of the parts where you see the two different screens side by side as like paintings per say. Like you know how some creepy movies or shows have a haunted house or castle where the people's eyes follow the people? LOL!! I know this sounds crazy but this idea just came to me so the opera house is completely abandoned and most of the parts in color are the past. Erik and Christine would have been together but he got mad at her for removing his mask and he left her standing on the steps at the masquerade so they have all these memories of them together. At the very end, you'll see I added some spooky effects and when you see the final rose, look at the ring when you hear this particular effect I put in. Perhaps Erik and Christine are together again in spirit. Just make up your own opinion. It's open to interpretation. But yeah, I wanted this to be a creepy, atmospheric video. I'm so happy with my zooming and timing effects too! I really feel this is one of my best videos I've ever done!
