Cappella Pratensis sings Giovanni Pierluigi da Palestrina's Ave Maria a5. This performance took place as part of a project to increase the online accessibility of the manuscripts and prints held by the Burns Library. As is usual of Cappella Pratensis' approach, the performance was sung directly from historical notation, in this case a reproduction of Girolamo Scotto's print of Palestrina's Missarum liber tertius.
