Have Mercy on Me (Psalm 41) | Christian Worship Song #Psalm41 #gospelmusic #CCM #music

"Have Mercy on Me" is an original worship song inspired by Psalm 41. It captures King David’s cry for God's healing, mercy, and protection during times of sickness, opposition, and betrayal—ending in a declaration of praise from everlasting to everlasting. 📜 LYRICS [Verse 1] Blessed is the one who cares for the poor, The Lord will keep them when trouble comes. The Lord will protect and preserve their life. In the land of the living, their hope will survive In the midst of the sickness, You restore them O Lord, be gracious, heal my soul, For I have sinned, I cry to You, “Have mercy, Lord" [Pre-Chorus] When my strength is failing, When my heart is low, I will lift my eyes to You, For You will never let me fall. [Chorus] O Lord, Have mercy on me, Raise me up and make me stand. You uphold me in Your presence. Though my enemies surround me, I will trust in You forever. You sustain me through my fear. My heart rests in You alone, You are my help, my God, my hope. [Verse 2] My enemies speak against me, hoping I lose it all With words wrapped in sweetness and hearts full of lies They gather and scheme, praying for my fall They say, "He is fallen, he’ll never arise" Even my close friend, the one I trusted most, Even the one who ate at my table, Has turned against me and walked away. [Pre-Chorus] You know me when I'm broken, You see my heart within. You hold me when I'm falling, And You forgive my sin. [Chorus] O Lord, Have mercy on me, Raise me up and make me stand. You uphold me in Your presence. Though my enemies surround me, I will trust in You forever. You sustain me through my fear. My heart rests in You alone, You are my help, my God, my hope. [Bridge] Because of my integrity, You hold me ever near. You set me in Your presence, You keep me standing here. Blessed be the Lord, The God of Israel, From everlasting To everlasting! [Final Chorus] O Lord, Have mercy on me, Raise me up and make me stand. You uphold me in Your presence. Though my enemies surround me, I will trust in You forever. You sustain me through my fear. My heart rests in You alone, You are my help, my God, my hope. [Outro] Blessed be the Lord, The God of Israel. From everlasting To everlasting. Amen and amen.
