Newcastle United's recruitment department is changing. Andy Howe has left the club following the departure of Steve Nickson earlier this summer, and with Ross Wilson now central to Newcastle's sporting structure, could the club be looking for a new Head of Recruitment or Chief Scout? In this video, I look at what the changes could mean for Newcastle's recruitment strategy, why I think the club needs a senior figure to lead the scouting operation, and why Marcel Bout is the man I'd be looking at. Bout has an impressive background across Dutch football, Bayern Munich and Manchester United, and he's now part of Newcastle's scouting operation. Could he be the man to take the next step?
