Spanish Grammar Lesson 1 🇪🇸 Ser vs Estar Explained for Beginners (A1)

Spanish has two verbs for "is", and choosing the wrong one is the mistake every English speaker makes. Ser is what something IS — your name, where you are from, what you do, what it is made of. Estar is how and where it is RIGHT NOW — your mood, your location, whether the coffee has gone cold. The set that matters most is the third one: the same adjective changes meaning depending on the verb. "Es aburrido" means he is boring. "Está aburrido" means he is bored. No phrasebook can teach you that — you have to know the rule. Forty examples, spoken twice by a native voice, with a recall round after every set.
