Palisades Post Fire Marquez Update – 09/28/2026 (V109)

Palisades Post Fire Marquez Update – 09/28/2026 (V109) Another in our continuing series of aerial updates over our beloved Pacific Palisades following the January 2025 fire. This flight focuses on the Marquez area of Pacific Palisades, giving an updated aerial look at how this part of the community continues to recover nearly 21 months after the fire. From the air, the neighborhood is continuing to change. Many properties that were previously filled with fire debris have now been cleared, while signs of rebuilding are becoming increasingly visible. Throughout the area you can see a mixture of cleared lots, construction activity, new foundations and homes beginning to take shape alongside the homes that survived the fire. The contrast between the surviving homes, open lots and new construction really shows the different stages of recovery taking place throughout Marquez. There is still a very long road ahead, but each visit reveals more activity and another chapter in the rebuilding of Pacific Palisades. These videos are intended to document that recovery over time and provide residents, former residents and everyone who loves the Palisades with a continuing aerial record of our community.
