Trying out REA (Reverse Engineer Anything) to make an hidden interview assitant clone w local model

I asked an AI agent to reverse-engineer an app. It copied the source code instead. 💀 So we started again, properly. In this experiment, I used REA to analyze OpenCluely’s app package and guide a separate implementation, then tested chat, OCR and a local AI model. This is the messy reality: wrong turns, bugs, working features and unfinished parts. Not a one-prompt miracle or a claim that we perfectly cloned the original.
