The Coming of the Son of Man

The Coming of the Son of Man What did Jesus mean when He spoke of “the coming of the Son of Man”? In this sermon, Rev. Dr. J.P. Cody examines the biblical language surrounding Christ’s coming and considers these passages in their historical, prophetic, and theological context. Rather than beginning with popular end-times assumptions, we begin with Scripture itself—asking what Jesus said, what His original hearers would have understood, and how these passages fit within the larger biblical story of Christ and His Kingdom. Christian Theology with Rev. Dr. J.P. Cody is devoted to the faithful study and teaching of Scripture, Christian theology, apologetics, and the application of biblical truth to the Christian life. Scripture quotations are from the English Standard Version (ESV).
