ciao belli, we finally made it to the dolomites! 🏔️ We spent four days exploring the mountains of northern Italy in early May, using a traditional alpine farm in Val Casies (Gsiesertal) as our base. Visiting the Dolomites in the off-season meant that some mountain huts were still closed, but it also meant quieter trails, empty viewpoints and some of the most beautiful landscapes almost entirely to ourselves.
