Cressy Road Level Crossing, Winchelsea, Victoria, Australia

This is the Cressy Road level crossing in Winchelsea, Victoria, Australia. This level crossing is located on the Warrnambool railway line. At the time I filmed the level crossing it was a flashing light setup, and was in the process of receiving boom gates as part of Stage 2 of the Warrnambool railway line upgrade. There is one track going through this level crossing which is broad gauge. This level crossing is maintained by V/Line The level crossing equipment consisted of: A Safetran Type 3 electronic bell on the north eastern flashing light signal. Westinghouse crossarms with branded and unbranded older style Westinghouse LED lights. Level crossing ahead signs with an illustration of a level crossing signal. There is also one on Mousley Road which has an on side road sign below. Level crossing ahead road markings with a rail diagram. Level crossing history: Flashing lights were installed in September 1984.
