BEFORE I GO — Francisco Bilingual Records “Before I Go” is a song about something every one of us will eventually face: what will remain when we’re no longer here? We spend so much of our lives working, worrying, chasing money, possessions, and tomorrow. But one day the phone will stop ringing, the chair will sit empty, and everything we worried about will belong to somebody else. What remains is the love we gave. This song is for my children, my wife, my family, and anyone who may hear my music long after I’m gone. I don’t want my legacy to be measured by how much I owned. I want it measured by how much I loved, how many times I got back up after falling, and whether my life helped someone else keep going. I’m not an example of a perfect man. I’m an example of continuing. If you hear this song today, don’t wait for tomorrow to tell somebody you love them. Hug your family. Forgive when you can. Make the call. Spend the time.
