Taxodium distichum air layering - Arkefthos Bonsai

This tree has reached the point where I'm happy with the girth of the trunk and the development of the nebari. 5 weeks ago it was repoted into a small training pot. Instead of just chopping the trunk and start to develope the new apex, I decided to experiment with air layering Taxodium. Thank you for your time!
