Archaeology of the Wooden Underworld

Life before the Wall at Vindolanda Dr Andrew Birley, CEO of the Vindolanda Trust explores the archaeological layers where wooden artefacts are found at Roman Vindolanda and casts a light on why these organic finds are so well preserved.
