THE FIRST THING SATAN MADE JUDAS DO | Dag Heward-Mills

Bishop Dag Heward-Mills teaches that biblical prophecies carry an unstoppable power of fulfillment, using the story of Judas Iscariot as a sobering case study. He shows how Jesus declared in John 6:70 that one of the twelve was a devil, yet none of the disciples - least of all Judas - took the warning seriously enough to fight against it. He reads Luke 22:3-4, where Satan entered into Judas and the very first thing Judas did was go and commune with the chief priests and captains. He unpacks the word 'commune,' defining it as intimate conversation, interchange of thoughts and feelings, and deep rapport. He applies this directly: the fact that you are in contact with certain people, that you have not blocked them, that you interact freely with them, is not a neutral thing - it is the first indicator of spiritual danger. He warns that Judas should have believed the prophecy and fought against it, and closes with the words of Christ in Matthew 22:14, 'Many are called but few are chosen,' urging listeners never to treat prophetic warnings casually.
